Demi Moore Gets Candid About ‘Breaking the Cycle of Addiction’

Actress Demi Moore is reflecting on her past struggles.

Over the weekend, "Extra" spoke with Moore, who was honored as Woman of Year by Friendly House, a residential recovery program for women. As for why the cause was so important to her, she shared, “Addiction is in the history of my family and I know truly how destructive it can be, and to be able to give women who don't have the finances or resources this opportunity is remarkable, where they are human beings and not a number on an insurance form.”
