Swedish Immunologist Weighs In on Her Country’s COVID-19 Strategy

As the world went into lockdown to battle COVID-19, Sweden imposed only minor restrictions and allowed businesses to remain open.

“Extra’s” Billy Bush and Dr. Armand Dorian spoke with Cecilia Söderberg-Nauclér, a Swedish immunologist and professor, via video chat to get her take on the plan. She made it clear that she does not agree with this “risky strategy that no one has tested.” Watch!

So far, more than 2,500 have died from the coronavirus in Sweden. Neighboring countries Norway and Finland, which have imposed greater restrictions, have reported about 200 deaths each.
