“Extra’s” Charissa Thompson spoke with Harry Connick Jr. and his daughter Georgia before they host CBS special “United We Sing,” which is honoring frontline workers during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The father-daughter duo enlisted the help of Hollywood’s biggest names to show thanks, including Brad Pitt, Sandra Bullock and Oprah Winfrey. Harry joked, “We kinda had to go to the B-list.”

“We drove to a bunch of towns. We had a bunch of celebrities on an iPad waiting to surprise [essential workers] by thanking them,” Harry added.

“United We Sing” airs Sunday night on CBS.
