“Extra’s” Jenn Lahmers caught up with director Clint Eastwood and the cast of “Richard Jewell” to talk about the tragic true story.

Jewell was the security guard who discovered a bomb at the 1996 Olympics in Atlanta, and was then vilified as a possible suspect. He passed away at 44.

The film stars Paul Walter Hauser as Jewell and Sam Rockwell as his lawyer. Clintwood called it a “great American tragedy.” Watch!

Clintwood also opened up about his upcoming 90th birthday, admitting he hasn’t wanted to celebrate a birthday since he was 20!

“Richard Jewell” opens in theaters December 13.
