New ‘DWTS’ Judge Derek Hough Talks COVID-19 Protocols, Carole Baskin, and His Judging Style
“Extra’s” Jenn Lahmers spoke with “Dancing with the Stars" favorite Derek Hough, who is returning to the show as a judge this season!
Hough, who has won the Mirrorball Trophy six times, will be joining Carrie Ann Inaba and Bruno Tonioli at the judges’ table for the first time. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Len is stuck in the UK. He emphasized, “Len is very much a part of the show. I am by no means replacing him, nor would I want to.”
Derek also discussed the protocols put in place this season, joking, “There is no fear of being hit in the face by Bruno with his movements.”
