The Signs? Who Should Be Tested for Breast Cancer

In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness month, Dr. Kristi Funk is sharing some much needed knowledge about the cancer.

As for who should be tested, Dr. Funk told “Extra,” “You want to consider testing if you have two relatives with breast cancer prior to age 50 or ovarian cancer at any age.”

“If there is a known mutation running around in the family or if any men have had breast cancer,” she added. “Or if there is a whole lot of cancer going on.”

Dr. Funk is the author of “Breasts. The Owner’s Manuel.”
