Freddie Highmore on ‘Good Doctor’ – Will Dr. Shaun Murphy Find Love?
“Extra” was with Freddie Highmore on the set of his hit ABC show “The Good Doctor.”
Highmore plays Dr. Shaun Murphy, who is living with autism. The 25-year-old emphasized that the show aims to “celebrate Shaun's unique vision of the world, celebrate the ways in which he thinks differently, and not negate the very real struggles that he faces, but also show you know moments of joy, moments of happiness, of humor… and maybe even love.”
Just before starring in “The Good Doctor,” Highmore wrapped a five-year run on “Bates Motel.”
“The Good Doctor” returns January 8.
