Steven Tyler on Janie's Fund, Raising Awareness of Sexually Abused Girls
Rock star Steven Tyler recently attended the Steven Tyler... Out on a Limb Benefit concert in NYC, where he raised money for his charity, Janie's Fund.
Tyler launched the initiative to raise money and awareness of girls who have suffered sexual abuse. He told “Extra” on the red carpet, “It’s a dream come true… to be a voice to girls that have no voice, that get abused, their parents are quiet, the subject is taboo, so I figured... whatever I can do to shine a light on a problem that is rampant in America.”
