Jewels Recalls Becoming Homeless After Refusing Sex with Former Boss
When singer Jewel recently spoke with "Extra's" AJ Calloway while promoting her new documentary, "Our Journey Home," she opened up about her homeless past.
She said, "I ended up homeless because I wouldn't have sex with the boss. He propositioned me, I turned him down. He would't give me my paycheck, so I couldn't pay my rent that month."
"Our Journey Home" centers on three families living in public housing, who struggle to support themselves and give back to the community.
