Back to the '90s! Vintage Mariah Carey on Christmas

“Extra’s” cameras were rolling in 1994 when Mariah Carey arrived with Santa to a New York City record store.

Before the pop diva was known for the Christmas anthem “All I Want for Christmas Is You,” she shared, "Christmas has always been my favorite time of year, and every year at Christmas, I'm like, ‘You know, I want to write a Christmas song so I can hear my own songs and sing my own songs at Christmastime.’ So I just have always been excited about the idea of doing it, so I did it.”

Mariah was at the event to celebrate selling 20 million copies of her album "Music Box."

Since then, Mimi has sold over 200 million albums and her Christmas song still tops the charts during the holidays.

It’s the gift that keeps on giving!
