Why Dennis Quaid Named His Band 'The Sharks'

Get ready to rock! Dennis Quaid & The Sharks recently performed at Hervelle’s in Santa Monica, where Terri Seymour caught up with the band backstage.

At 62, “The Art of More” actor is still sexy and jamming out on stage. He said of the band, “We've been together for 16 years now. Our first gig was Halloween night 2000. My son, who was nine at the time, he named us The Sharks — and I always say thank God he wasn't into dinosaurs at the time.”

On his Crackle show, he plays a billionaire with an insatiable appetite for fine art… and women. For season 2, he says you can expect “jealousy and greed and revenge. These people, they're really patting each other on the back and stabbing each other at the same time.”

If you're in Southern California, Dennis Quaid & The Sharks will be performing Saturday, December 17 at the Saint Rocke in Hermosa Beach. The show starts at 8:00 p.m. For tickets, visit http://www.saintrocke.com/event/1384424-dennis-quaid-sharks-hermosa-beach/
