Red Gerard Reveals How He Got His Name
“Extra’s” Mario Lopez caught up with Olympic snowboarder Red Gerard at Universal Studios Hollywood after he won a gold medal at the Winter Olympics Games in PyeongChang.
Along with showing off his medal, the 17-year-old also revealed the story behind his name. He shared, “From what I’ve heard, when I was born, my face was really red when I came out.”
Red is about to head back to PyeongChang to compete for another medal in the Men’s Big Air event.
The Olympics are airing on NBC.
