Danny DeVito Nearly Drowned on 'It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia’!

On the season finale of “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia,” Danny DeVito nearly drowned while filming!

Danny, who plays Frank Reynolds on the show, told “Extra’s" Terri Seymour, “It was a good experience… I have lived a good life and it flashed before my eyes in that scene.”

His co-stars joked about it, with Kaitlin Olson joking that they “Got him out, turned out fine.” Rob McElhenney added, “We got the shot!” as Charlie Day chimed in, “We can’t get rid of him!"

Also on the season finale, "NCIS: New Orleans" star Scott Bakula will be guest-starring, and it’s quite the departure from his role on the criminal case show. He told Terri about getting the chance to sing. “My background is musical theater. I sing as much as I can, so I’m ready.”
