David Hasselhoff Dishes on ‘Baywatch’ and His Mockumentary ‘Hoff the Record’

“Exta’s” AJ Calloway caught up with David Hasselhoff our H&M Studios in Times Square to chat about the upcoming “Baywatch” movie and his mockumentary “Hoff the Record.”

When AJ asked what it was like putting on those red “Baywatch” shorts again, David replied, “It was like I never left. I was born ready.”

He also praised co-stars Zac Efron and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, saying, “Zac is in incredible shape,” and, “You cannot mess with The Rock. The Rock will kill you.”

As for his own beach-ready body, he explained, “I stay in ‘Baywatch’ shape because I have to, you know? It's called show business.”

He also dished on “Hoff the Record,” explaining it is a comedic look at all the stuff that has been written about him over the years “that's really not true, or semi-true.”

“We took that and made a comedy out of it… the talking car, the ‘Baywatch’ situations, rehab.”

"Hoff the Record" premieres tonight on AXS TV.
