Selena Gomez Opens Up About Growing Up in the Public Eye

“Extra” was with Selena Gomez and Felicity Huffman to talk about their new film “Rudderless,” and Gomez discussed what it’s like growing up in the spotlight.

Gomez explained, “I'd rather just tell people that they're not going to bring me down. It's okay that I don't know who I am. It's okay that I'm trying to figure out what's right and what's wrong. And I want people to know, especially my fans, girls, that I'd rather just keep going.”

She added, "This is me being able to use my generation and show them a whole other side. Every decision I make is because I know that if I'm the smartest person in the room, I'm in the wrong room and I want them to feel that way."
