Rihanna Cancels Grammy Performance at the Last Minute
UPDATE: Rihanna's team later released a statement explaining that the singer was put on 48-hour vocal rest due to illness and was advised not to sing because she was at risk of hemorrhaging her vocal chords.
One performer will be missing from the Grammy lineup tonight: Rihanna!
TMZ reports that Rihanna cancelled her performance of “Kiss Me Better” at the last minute because she has been sick with bronchitis.
Her doctor reportedly recommended she sit this one out or risk permanently damaging her vocal cords.
The site says RiRi made it to the Staples Center, but left did not walk the red carpet.
