Vanessa Bryant Shares Kobe's Heart-Tugging Book Dedication

Vanessa Bryant has shared a touching book dedication from her late husband, Kobe Bryant.

People magazine reports that Vanessa shared the dedication to Kobe's new book "Epoca the Tree of Ecrof: Island of the Gods" on Instagram. "For Vanessa," the fallen superstar wrote. "Thank you for always being the realist to my Dreamer."

The YA book is about kids battling evil.

Vanessa wrote of the dedication, "Always learning from the best. ❤️My Boo-Boo, my Dreamer.... 📖."

At the same time, Vanessa shared an adorable new photo of her daughter Capri, 10 months.

"I love you Koko Bean 😘❤️," she wrote. Capri's cheetah-print look attracted comments from Tia Mowry, La La Anthony, and other celebs.

Vanessa has been in a nostalgic mood lately. Four months after his shocking death, Kobe Bryant's widow Vanessa discovered a letter from the late Lakers legend, revealing on Instagram, “Yesterday I found an envelope labeled To: The Love of my Life. From, Tu Papi ❤️I waited to open one more letter on my birthday. It gave me something to look forward to today."

Vanessa also shared a photo of the envelope.

Vanessa's 38th birthday came just days after the birthday of their daughter Gianna, who also perished in the helicopter crash that took nine lives.

Vanessa honored Gianna on what would have been her 14th birthday, posting a pic and writing on Instagram, "Happy 14th Birthday to my sweet baby girl, Gianna. Mommy loves you more than I can ever show you. You are part of MY SOUL forever. I miss you so much everyday. I wish I could wake up and have you here with me. I miss your smile, your hugs and your giggles. I miss EVERYTHING about YOU, Gigi. I LOVE YOU so much!!!!!!! ❤️🎉🎂🎉❤️."

In another post, Vanessa explained how people can honor Gianna on her birthday. She wrote on Instagram, "Gianna loved to wear a red bow in all of her school pictures. Red means love and life. To commemorate Gigi's birthday today, please consider wearing red, caption an act of kindness or show how you will play Gigi's way since she always gave everything she did her all and led with kindness. ❤️Please use the hashtag #PlayGigisWay ❤️Thank you. 5-1-06 Mambacita."
