Why Johnny Depp & Amber Heard’s Restraining Order Hearing Was Postponed

Johnny Depp and Amber Heard will not be going face-to-face tomorrow over spousal abuse allegations, according to the Daily News.
The two were scheduled to meet at a court hearing about her restraining order, but it was postponed at the request of Depp's legal team. A source said, "In all likelihood, it's going to get continued.”
Heard was scheduled to testify against Johnny, but TMZ reported earlier the two are trying to settle their divorce matters out of court and reach a mutual agreement. Despite the rumors, Amber's people say they have not expressed any desire to settle.
To have the postponement granted, Depp's camp is apparently willing to accept an extension of the temporary restraining order. A new court date will most likely be scheduled for sometime this summer.
Amber was reportedly asking for $50K per month in spousal support, but withdrew her request this week.
Last week, Heard's team had said she would be unable to participate in a deposition since she was in New Jersey for an engagement party and then would fly to London for fittings for her next movie. Due to her recent weight loss, Amber did not fly to London since the production crew felt she was not camera-ready for the role.
