Steven Spielberg Dishes on Tom Cruise’s Surprise ‘Ready Player One’ Set Visits

Last night, “Extra's” Renee Bargh was at the Hollywood premiere of the new Steven Spielberg action adventure film “Ready Player One” at the Dolby Theater in Hollywood, where she spoke to the Academy Award-winning director about all of his famous friends who dropped by the set during production.
There was one particular star, who really thrilled the cast and crew… Tom Cruise.
Steven shared, “We had a lot of celebrities come to set. I love having visitors come to the set, especially with a new cast of young actors. It's a really great perk when someone shows up who they have admired and they love their movies, and they love what they have to say, it kind of blows them all away. I like that!”
“Ready Player One” star Olivia Cooke, was awestruck when she met Tom, sharing, “He was really lovely. I was a mess. And then I blacked out. Apparently, I bowed. Like a servant!"
“Ready Player One” opens this Friday in 2D and 3D in select theaters and on IMAX.
