Amy Schumer Gives $1,000 Tip to ‘Hamilton’ Bartender

Over the weekend, “Trainwreck” star Amy Schumer showed her generosity with a bartender while catching the Broadway show “Hamilton” for the second time in five months.
Schumer spent $77 on her bar tab, but dropped a $1,000 tip to the lucky bartender, Madeleine DeJohn, who wrote on Instagram, "And then @amyschumer comes into your work and does something amazing.”

After news of the big tip broke, a CBS reporter asked if she had any comment. Amy tweeted, “Lots of love to my fellow bartenders and artists. I'm grateful to them and the cast and crew for another great night.”
