Valerie Harper’s Cancer Update: ‘I Do Believe in Miracles’
Actress Valerie Harper received an early Christmas present this year… her cancer continues to regress!
In the debut issue of Closer magazine, the 74-year-old explained she had a brain scan earlier this month, and “[My doctor] said, 'At the rate we are going, you don't have to worry. You will see Christmas!' I do believe in miracles.”
Although Harper realizes her precarious health could “turn on a dime,” she is “signing up for life!” She insisted, “We are all terminal and it's great to face that -- and then discard it. Don't live in fear of dying.”
The actress recently competed on this season of “Dancing with the Stars.”
She credits her husband of 26-years, Tony Cacciotti, for helping her through the ups and downs of her diagnosis.
