Naomi Judd on Ashley’s Cirque-Style Workout: ‘It’s the Strangest Yoga I’ve Ever Seen’

Ashley Judd has taken her yoga practice to a whole new level.

Her mom, country singer Naomi Judd, told “MORE Access,” our entertainment affiliate in Las Vegas, all about her daughter Ashley's impressive moves.

“Ashley does this thing right now called Acroyoga… it's the strangest yoga I've ever seen in my life,” said Naomi. “She's just an expert at it. She's done yoga for 15 years. Ashley will get on her back and hold her hands and her feet up and somebody else balances their entire body on this hand (holds up left hand) and holds their hand up like this (holds up right arm) and then legs out, it is like Cirque du Soleil stuff.”

She's so impressed by Ashley, she joked that her youngest should be on “American Ninja Warrior”!

When asked if she has tried Ashley's other passion, Zumba, Naomi said she's tried, but it is just too fast for her. “It's almost like in the movies, you know how they will speed things up and you'll see the seasons changing that fast. It is at that speed.”

Next month, Naomi will be spending some quality time with her eldest daughter Wynonna. The two will reunite for the first time in five years for a nine-show stint at The Venetian from Oct. 7 to 24.

“We miss each other, we miss singing, but most of all we miss the fans,” Judd said.

She said fans can look forward to authentic country music and lots of laughter and fun.
