Kate McKinnon Opens 'SNL' as Hillary Clinton Singing 'Hallelujah'

Kate McKinnon turned in an unexpectedly poignant cold-open for "Saturday Night Live," appearing as Hillary Clinton while singing and playing the late Leonard Cohen's "Hallelujah."
Throughout, the audience was respectfully silent. When it ended, McKinnon — who was clearly emotional — managed to say, in character as Hillary, "I'm not giving up, and neither should you."
