Kanye’s Yeezy NYFW Show Runs Into Trouble As Models Faint and Guests Forced to Wait

Kanye West's Season 4 Yeezy show at New York Fashion Week ran into trouble, according to multiple reports.

The rapper had big plans and a secret location selected, but weather and logistics weren't on his side.

West planned to bus his A-list friends, as well as the fashion media, to Roosevelt Island, but the six-mile ride took over an hour for many guests, who were already miffed at taking the bus and having to arrive at the pick-up location an hour and a half before the 3 p.m. show.

New York Times Styles reporter Matthew Schneier described it as “a middle school field trip" in a tweet.

Once the show did get underway, an hour and a half late, Kanye ran into more problems.

DailyMail.com reports four models fainted due to the heat. Spin says assistants were forced to give out water bottles because of the heat. To make matters worse, one model's heel broke and another decided to take her shoes off mid-show.

The “Famous” singer did have plenty of support. The Kardashian crew was out in full force. Kim arrived in a sheer dress and thigh-high boots, Kylie Jenner flashed underboob in a barely-there two-piece alongside boyfriend Tyga, while Kendall showed off toned abs in a nude tracksuit and heels.
