Mike Johnson Asks Out Keke Palmer on the Air! See Her Reaction

“The Bachelorette” star Mike Johnson caught Keke Palmer by surprise when he asked her out on “Strahan, Sara and Keke.”

Johnson, who was previously linked to Demi Lovato, explained, “I made a mistake. I don't like dating in public.” Then, he shocked Keke when he turned to her and said, “But if I were to ask you if we could go on a date… ?”

Palmer looked shocked as she covered her face with a note card and laughed.

She demanded that Strahan ask another question, but her co-hosts pretended not to notice.

Finally, Michael told Johnson, “Mike, I'm going to tell you something, right? Demi is my girl. I love this one here, too. Now, you mess up, I'm coming for you.”

Strahan pointed out that Keke and Mike look good together, but Palmer shut down the conversation, saying, “Ladies, I'm at work. I'm at work, guys. I'm at work.”

The date may have been a joke. The “Strahan, Sara and Keke” show later tweeted photos of Keke's reaction with the caption, “When the gag's on you.”

Meanwhile, People reports that Mike and Demi are over.

The stars were flirting online and went on more than one date, but a source tells the mag it is “done.”
