Gigi Hadid & Kendall Jenner Faced Tough Auditions Before Landing Victoria's Secret Fashion Show Gig

The casting directors met with hundreds of hopefuls before offering the 45 coveted spots to models, including Gigi Hadid and Kendall Jenner.

The show's executive producer Ed Razek said, "You're meant to be objective about it, but you know how hard all the girls have worked for it. A few of them showed their emotions, but they all feel that way. Every one of them feels that way."

Executive producer Monica Mitro added, “ here's several who are either fighting back tears or literally crying in here today because there's such a buildup, and they've been working for it and wanting it so badly."

Supermodel Izabel Goulart is one of the models who couldn't hide her emotions during the auditions. She has walked the runway for the show for a few years, but even she still has to audition to be part of the show this year.

She said, "Every year, it feels like it's the very, very first show, and one thing that I do all year long is really try to… to work as hard as I can. So I can deserve to be here, to be a part of the moment that only happens at the show, at the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show."
