In the end, it was Nyle DiMarco and partner Peta Murgatroyd who were crowned the Season 22 winners.
Peta is not only winning on the dance floor, she is also winning in life: She and fiancé Maksim Chmerkovskiy are reportedly expecting their first child together, according to People magazine.
TMZ reports "Dancing with the Stars" co-host Erin Andrews accidentally spilled the beans on the baby news during rehearsals on Monday. Her mic was apparently on when she congratulated the couple.
After their December engagement, Peta hinted at her desire to have children. She told People, “I would like to start [having kids] pretty soon. A little boy, and then a little girl.”
Maks wanted to have a girl first since he believes "an older girl would be more responsible."
About their future together, Maksim gushed, “I'm not just looking forward to the next 20 years, I'm looking forward to the 20 years after that, when the kids are out of the house and it's just the two of us again."
