'The Bachelor': Lauren Burnham Reveals What She Asked Arie Luyendyk Jr. When the Cameras Weren’t Rolling

“Extra's” AJ Calloway caught up with newly engaged “Bachelor” couple Arie Luyendyk Jr. and Lauren Burnham just hours after he popped the question with a 3.5-carat cushion cut Neil Lane ring on the “After the Final Rose” special!

Arie's season of “The Bachelor” has had its share of twists and turns. He broke up with Lauren on Monday's finale, and proposed to Becca Kurfin instead… only to change his mind! Luyendyk went on to break Becca's heart before reuniting with Lauren.

AJ asked Arie why he proposed to Becca if it wasn't right. Arie explained, “There's a lot of pressure, there's a ton of people involved… I made a mistake and I own up to that and I shouldn't have but I did, but I'd rather break off that engagement when I knew it wasn't going to work out… I needed to run to Lauren and it makes it all worth it.”

Lauren revealed she had concerns, saying when the cameras weren't rolling, “We talked on the phone quite a bit after that so there were many, many things I asked... I wanted to make sure it wasn't something that would happen again if we were to get back together.”

Now the couple is ready to move forward together! The pair even opened up about their wedding plans. Lauren gushed, “We've been planning our wedding since before we were even engaged.”

Arie added, “We spent every week together the last couple of months, we think about the future together and what we want… we've been planning our wedding and how it would look and we are excited.”
