Watch a Sneak Peek of Kanye West’s ‘American Idol’ Audition
In October, Kanye West surprised the “American Idol” judges by appearing before them for an audition on the final season of the show.
Before performing his hit song “Gold Digger,” he introduced himself to the judges, saying, "My name is Kanye, I'm from the south side of Chicago. I'm originally a producer. I always wanted to rap and no one really believed in me, so I wanted to try some things out, ya know?”
