Patrick Dempsey Lists $14.5M Family Home After Exiting ‘Grey’s,’ Buys Bachelor Pad

Nearly a week after Patrick Dempsey's beloved character Derek Shepherd was killed off “Grey's Anatomy,” the soon-to-be-divorced dad of three is selling the 3-acre Malibu home he shared for six years with his estranged wife Jillian Fink and their three children for $14.5 million.

Dempsey and Fink purchased the 3-bedroom, 3.5-bathroom home in 2009 for $7 million, and according to Zillow, the Frank Gehry-designed estate has a pool surrounded by ocean views, an outdoor pizza oven, fire pit, and plenty of room for your farm animals.

Variety reports that Dempsey has already purchased a new $1.9-million, 1950s converted bungalow about a mile from Venice Beach.

Fink filed for divorce from the former “Grey's Anatomy” star in January after 15 years of marriage.

On Thursday's special two-hour episode of “Grey's Anatomy,” creator Shonda Rimes gives Dempsey's Dr. Derek Shepherd a bittersweet sendoff as Meredith Grey has to deliver the tragic news of her husband's death to the staff at Grey Sloan Memorial.

"His loss will be felt by all," wrote Rhimes in a statement about Dempsey's departure.
