Ciara Gushes Over NFL BF Russell Wilson, Pays Tribute to Janet Jackson at BET Awards
Ciara chatted with “Extra's” Special Correspondent Tanika Ray on the red carpet at the BET Awards on Sunday in Los Angeles, where she revealed things are going “more than well” with NFL boyfriend Russell Wilson.
The 29-year-old singer, who dazzled in a plunging Wes Gordon gown, was all smiles as she posed with the Seattle Seahawks quarterback before the show. She also wasn't shy about gushing to our Tanika Ray about how happy Wilson makes her. “He's an amazing guy,” Ciara said of her beau.
Ciara led an all-star tribute to Janet Jackson, who accepted BET's first-ever Ultimate Icon: Music Visual Dance Award, following an elaborate dance tribute by Tinashe, Jason Derulo, and Ciara, who recreated the classic “If” dance routine followed by “Rhythm Nation.”
“I feel so honored,” said Ciara about being asked to perform. “Moments like these put the icing on the cake. That woman has inspired me in every way.”
