LeBron James Leaving Lakers & Moving to New Team

Lebron James is saying goodbye to the L.A. Lakers!
The team announced on X that James is leaving the team.
The X post stated, "LeBron James is one of the greatest athletes in history. We will always be thankful for his eight years with the Lakers -- including the title he led us to in 2020 under the toughest imaginable circumstances and the countless records he broke in purple and gold.
"We wish him all the best in the future, both on the court and off. He will always be a cherished part of the Lakers family."
LeBron responded, writing, "No, THANK YOU! Truly a honor to wear the 💜💛 while trying to continuing the greatness & legacies that came before me! Hope I made a few proud during my stint. 🙏🏾🫡👑"
According to TMZ, James’ agent Rich Paul delivered the news to the Lakers on Tuesday.
The site adds that LeBron is reportedly planning to move to another team, but hasn’t chosen which one yet.
TMZ reports there are rumblings about LeBron teaming up with Steph Curry and San Francisco's Golden State Warriors and other chatter about James returning to the Cleveland Cavaliers.
