Jessica Simpson Is Dating Musician Thomas Eisenhood After Eric Johnson Split (Report)

Singer Jessica Simpson has moved on from Eric Johnson.

After TMZ first reported on her new relationship, People magazine confirms Simpson is dating musician Thomas Eisenhood, who lives in Nashville.

A source told the outlet, "She's happy.  She's in a great place, excited for her future.”

More than a year ago, Jessica and Eric announced their separation after 10 years of marriage.

Despite the split, the two are amicably co-parenting their kids Maxwell, 13, Ace, 12, and Birdie, 7.

The insider said, "She and Eric are committed to being the best possible parents they could be, having a harmonious relationship and supporting their kids.”

Last month, it was reported that Jessica and Eric were still living together in their Hidden Hills homes.

A source, however, said that change was on the horizon.

They told People magazine, "He's been living there, but they're working on selling the house. The goal has been to keep everything as stable and as friendly for the kids as possible.” 

"They still have a great relationship,” the insider added. "They're still co-parenting. The main goal is the kids, but they're moving toward next steps.”
