Kim Kardashian’s Bizarre Cover-Up at Academy Museum Gala

Kim Kardashian, is that you?

The reality star wore a bizarre ensemble at the 2025 Academy Museum Gala that completely covered her face!

The ripped-from-the-runway look was actually from the Maison Margiela Fall 2025 collection, which featured many face coverings.

Kim chose a nude strapless corset gown with long draped sleeves and paired the look with a bold choker necklace.

Kardashian posted about the look on Instagram, and in one video she joked with her makeup artist Mario Dedivanovic as she got ready.

Kim asked, “Mario, do I look okay? The makeup?” He teased, “Your makeup looks amazing, yes.” 

She went on, “It’s good? All that hard work, guys. I feel like I always do this to Mario, though.”

This isn’t the first time Kim has opted for a full face covering at a fashion event. 

In 2021, she wore a Balenciaga ensemble that featured a black mask and head covering.
