Gerard Butler & Bikini-Clad Mystery Woman Frolic in the Ocean

Actor Gerard Butler is sparking romance rumors!

Last week, Butler was spotted enjoying a dip in the ocean with a mystery woman.

While Butler sported colorful trunks, his lady friend showed off her body in a brown bikini.

The beach sighting comes just months after Butler called it quits with Morgan Brown, who he dated on and off for six years.

In August, Butler opened up on their split, telling The Courier Mail newspaper, “I went through a breakup during corona so I lost a loved one in a different way, and that’s been very hard, much harder than I thought… Actually, during this last three years I’ve had a bunch of stuff going on health-wise, that at one point made me reconsider my whole career. I had a surgery that went wrong, which then became seven surgeries. I had a motorcycle accident that almost killed me and I suddenly thought, ‘There has to be something more.’ There comes a point where you go, ‘Is that it? Is there something more that’s part of my journey?’”

“The things I’ve been through, not as an actor but as a person, make me think about a different kind of impact I could leave behind. So it’s started me on a full-blown quest, which I’m in the middle of right now,” Butler emphasized.

After news broke on the split, a source claimed to Us Weekly that Gerard “couldn't fully settle down,” but “both handling the breakup with maturity.”

The source added, “Those close to them believe they're better off as friends.”

A few years ago, Gerard opened up about his desire to settle down and have a family. He told People magazine, “In five years I want to be in a relationship. I'd love to have one or two kids — it's about time.”

At the time, he noted that he had “no personal life,” adding that he wanted “to be more run by my personal life than my career.”
