NASCAR driver Dale Earnhardt Jr., 46, is a dad for the second time!
On Monday, Dale and his wife Amy welcomed their second child, a baby girl who they named Nicole. Days later, Earnhardt Jr. shared on his “Dale Jr. Download” podcast, “We got a new addition. We got a healthy baby girl.”
In March, Dale learned of the pregnancy from their daughter Isla Rose, 2, who wore a shirt that read, “Super amazing sister.”
Amy posted a video of Dale’s reaction to the news. He said, “What?! How do you know it’s a girl?!”
Amy responded, “She’s the sister either way!”
The surprised Earnhardt Jr. commented with a smile on his face, “Really?! Oh, my God! This is a joke!”
In another adorable video, Isla told the camera, “I’m gonna be a sister.”
The pregnancy news came less than a year after Dale, Amy and Isla were involved in a fiery plane crash in Tennessee. According to the FAA, the plane experienced a “hard landing, bounced, departed runway, and caught fire” at Elizabethton Municipal Airport in Tennessee.
Dale and Amy tied the knot in 2016.
