Hank Williams Jr.’s Daughter Katherine Killed in Car Crash

Hank Williams Jr. has lost his 27-year-old daughter Katherine Williams-Dunning in a tragic accident.

E! News reports that Katherine died in a car crash in Henry Country, Tennessee, on Saturday.

According to documents, Katherine was driving south on U.S. Highway 79 in an SUV that was towing a boat. The crash happened when the car crossed the dividing median and started a rollover sequence. It eventually came to a stop on the east shoulder of the roadway after crossing the northbound lanes.

On Sunday, Katherine’s sister Holly confirmed the sad news, writing on Instagram, “I have no words. On Friday morning I talked the family into taking this picture and had no idea it would be our last together with my precious little sister Katie. We all went to my great aunts funeral on Thursday whom we all loved dearly, and now are faced with another one. ALL we need is prayers."

Katherine's sister Hilary added, "My beautiful little sister Katie. I'll always love and miss you. 💔 I'll see you again one day beyond the blue."

Before Katherine died, her brother Sam asked for prayers on his now-private Instagram. He said, "My sister and brother in law have been in a terrible accident. Please pray for them so hard! Katie Williams and Tyler Dunning."

Katherine’s husband Tyler survived the crash and was rushed to a hospital. Holly revealed that Tyler was "awake and responding," but they “don't know injury extent yet."

Katherine leaves behind two children.
