Hana Kimura, a Japanese pro wrestler who just appeared on the Netflix reality series "Terrace House," has died at 22.
THR reports Stardom Wrestling confirmed her death Saturday via a tweet that read: "We are very sorry to report that our Hana Kimura has passed away. Please be respectful and allow some time for things to process, and keep your thoughts and prayers with her family and friends. We appreciate your support during this difficult time."
Exactly when and how she died are unknown, but Japanese media has reported her body was found at her home.
Kimura was subjected to widespread online bullying, centering around her appearance on "Terrace House," on which three men and three women shared a home in Tokyo. The series was cut short due to COVID-19 concerns.
Her final social media post was two sweet images of Kimura with her kitten and the message, "Goodbye. I love you, live long and happy. I'm sorry."
She is survived by her mother, who was a famous pro wrestler in her own right.
