Nearly four years after “The Voice” contestant Christina Grimmie was shot and killed outside a show in Florida, her boyfriend Stephen Rezza is featuring her voice on new music.

Rezza just released “Hard Mode,” and Grimmie’s vocals can clearly be heard. Listen to it here.

The emotional lyrics include, “Yeah, I always pray for a break and I’ve almost been at heaven’s gates. How much more can I take? God, put my life on hard mode.”

Stephen, who underwent brain surgery last year to remove a tumor, wrote on Instagram, “Life’s been rough for me, between loss & brain cancer but if you’re out there going through a hard time I want you to know you’re not alone. Reach out. Not only do you have a community but Gods got your back.”

Rezza’s nickname for Christina was spoop, and he announced, “This is the first of many songs I’m putting out with spoop’s vocal. I hope you love it.”

TMZ reports that Grimmie’s family signed off on the new music.
