Hearts are melting over touching video shared by Kobe Bryant's widow Vanessa Bryant, showing their 7-month-old daughter Capri Kobe learning how to stand — and grinning with joy.
Though Vanessa is mourning the loss of her husband and their 13-year-old daughter Gianna "Gigi" Bryant, she shared the hopeful video of Capri standing with the help of her aunt, Kobe's sister Sharia.
"Do this again," Vanessa says in the video, as Capri stands, then looks for her mom for approval. "Good job, Koko, good job! Good girl, mamacita."
She captioned the video, "My Koko Bean. She looks just like my Gigi. ☀️❤️auntie Ri-Ri. #7months."
On Friday, Vanessa confirmed a celebration of life for the late NBA star and Gianna.
Vanessa posted an announcement on Instagram, confirming the event will take place on February 24, 2020, at Staples Center.
The date could hold special meaning, as 2 was Gianna’s jersey number at Harbor Day School and 24 was her dad’s number while playing for the L.A. Lakers.
Kobe, Gianna, and seven others died in a tragic helicopter crash on January 26.
