“Bachelor in Paradise” couple Joe Amabile and Kendall Long have called it quits.
On Wednesday, the pair released a joint statement, saying, “We have decided mutually to go our separate ways. Joe has made the decision to move back to Chicago while Kendall will be remaining in her hometown of Los Angeles.”
They continued, “Our family and friends have always been an extremely important element to who we are as people. We can’t imagine continuing our lives without them closer, especially when thinking of starting a family of our own one day. We both respect each others’ decision and still have a great deal of love for each other. We appreciate all the love and support everyone has given us throughout our relationship.”
Last year, Joe and Kendall took a big step in their relationship. Joe told “Extra” at Coachella, “We are getting an apartment together, so we are moving in together. That is a pretty big step.”
At the time, they were hoping to move to West Hollywood or Los Feliz.
Kendall added, “We are of the mindset that we wouldn’t be in a relationship if we didn’t see something serious coming out of it.”
Joe and Kendall met on “Bachelor in Paradise” Season 5 in 2018.
