"Wanting to be a great athlete, you need to make sacrifices in your life. The people in your life have to make sacrifices, this was the time for him to be with his family, it's unfortunate… the loss is unique because it reverberates.”
Rob Gronkowski remembered the first time he met Kobe, saying, “I was front row at the Celtics game and he came running by and he was like, 'Gronk, Gronk!' I was like 23 years old, this was like six years ago, my eyes lit up and my dad was next to me and I was like, 'Dad, Kobe just said my name!' It put a big smile on my face.”
