Reality stars Brandon Reid and Taylor Dunkin didn’t get their fairy-tale ending.
The couple tied the knot on Lifetime’s “Married at First Sight,” and now People reports he’s already filed for an annulment.
According to docs obtained by the magazine, Reid filed the paperwork on January 2, one day after the show's season premiere.
The pair tied the knot on the following episode, but by then had already split in real life.
A source told People, “Taylor and Brandon’s marriage is one of the most combustible we’ve ever seen. They have the most intense love-hate relationship. Right now it’s hate, but I wouldn’t be surprised if next week it comes back to love.”
Lifetime released a statement, saying, “As with any union, some end up happily ever after, and others don’t. Continue to watch ‘MAFS’ to see what happens with Taylor and Brandon.”
Earlier this season, Brandon explained why he joined the show, saying, “I haven’t been able to get it right on my own, so I’m trusting the experts to find the perfect match for me.”
Taylor was ready for the next chapter, saying, “I’m here with open arms waiting for that special someone.”
