Brad Pitt Jokes That His Personal Life Is a ‘Disaster’ in New Interview
Actor Brad Pitt poked a little fun at himself in a new interview with Marc Maron.
Pitt and his “Once Upon a Time… in Hollywood” co-star Leonardo DiCaprio opened up about fame on the “WTF with Marc Maron” podcast.
Marc asked about the moment they knew they had made it big, and Leo recalled "A film called 'Titanic.' That was it… I just remember four SUVs outside my house one day. And I went to like the liquor store to get a soda, and there were like these SUVs, and then they just kept following me every day of my life. I was like, 'Okay, life will no longer be the same.'"
Leo said thankfully it doesn't happen as much anymore.
Pitt asked, “It doesn't?” joking, “I'm a little disgruntled with you.” When Marc asked if Brad gets followed, the star answered, “Aw, man. I'm just like trash-mag fodder! I don't know — because of my disaster of a personal life, probably. Most likely."
Leo insisted "You have a very exciting personal life," while sharing his mantra, "Like Lil' Kim said, 'The paparazzi's gonna get you one way or another.' It's been my motto."
Pitt, who split with wife Angelina Jolie in 2016, also made fun of his love life while accepting Best Performance by an Actor in a Supporting Role in Any Motion Picture at the Golden Globes.
He told the crowd, "I wanted to bring my mom, but I couldn't 'cause every woman I stand next to they say I'm dating, and it'd just be awkward." His ex-wife Jennifer Aniston was spotted laughing along with the crowd.
