Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan’s divorce is making headlines.

In a surprise move, TMZ says the stars asked a judge to finalize their divorce ahead of hammering out a settlement.

While their marriage has ended, the exes still have to divide up their assets and agree on custody of 6-year-old daughter Everly.

Some are speculating that the pair moved up the timeline on their divorce so Jenna and boyfriend Steve Kazee, who are expecting their first child together, could tie the knot. Meanwhile, Channing and girlfriend Jessie J would be free to marry, too.

Channing and Jenna announced their split in April 2018 after nine years of marriage, and they filed for divorce that October.

Dewan was first linked to Kazee in October 2018 and they were photographed holding hands the following month. Tatum was first linked to Jessie J around the same time and they stepped out holding hands in March 2019.
