“The Real Housewives of Orange County” star Kelly Dodd, 44, is off the market!
On Wednesday, Dodd announced that she was engaged to Fox News senior correspondent Rick Leventhal. Along with posting a pic in which she is flashing her pear-shaped diamond ring, Dodd wrote on Instagram, “I can’t believe I just got engaged!! @rickleventhal you are my Prince and my dream come true!!! #love #engaged #myprince.”
Leventhal shared the same photo of the couple posing near the Empire State Building. He wrote, “Dreams do come true.”
Kelly couldn’t help showing off the ring on her Instagram Story, saying, “Oh my God, look at that, right there. Look at how he did it! Look how badass that ring is. BAM!”
Dodd dished on the proposal, telling People magazine, “He said this amazing speech about our love and then got down on one knee and pulled out this giant ring. I couldn’t believe it!”
Dodd gushed about her man, “Rick is my best friend. My partner in crime. I’m so in love. I can’t believe this happened to me. I feel like I just won the lottery.”
Last month, Kelly sparked engagement rumors after she wrote that they were “getting married 10/10/2020.”
Kelly and Rick have been linked since August after calling it quits with Dr. Brian Reagan. At the time, she said on her Instagram Story, “The universe is telling me I broke up with Dr. Brian, woo! And they all know why.”
Kelly implied that he was not taking her side on an argument, adding, “This is why I’m breaking up with Brian for good. This is the last time. No going back to this a–hole. At all.”
Dodd made in Instagram official with Rick a week after breaking up with Brian, who she had dated for a year. She wrote on Instagram, “My Prince came across the pond to see me!! @rickleventhal I am one lucky girl!! #london #princecharming #anchorman.”
Kelly was previously married to Michael Dodd until 2017. They are the parents of one daughter, Jolie, 13.
