Jennifer Aniston & Reese Witherspoon on ‘The Morning Show,’ Instagram, and More

Years after working together on “Friends,” Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon are back together promoting their new Apple TV+ series “The Morning Show.”

The actresses took over the anchor desk on “Good Morning America” Monday, with Jen playing a morning-show host. She told “Extra's” Renee Bargh they were “oddly comfortable” up there.

Meanwhile, Jen recently made headlines when she joined Instagram and landed in the Guinness Book of World Records for gaining a million followers in just five hours and 16 minutes. She reportedly crashed the app, and it took hours for some to follow her. She told Renee, “I feel like I need to write a lot of apology notes to people.” Reese added, “Somebody needs to apologize.” Aniston said with a smile, “You've got to have goals, guys, and I think I reached them with this. Thanks, guys.”

Aniston is following pals like Reese and Courteney Cox on Instagram. Cox recently posted a hot tub pic with David Beckham. What were they up to? “I'm sure it's nothing tawdry. I think they were just shooting a scene,” Aniston said.

Reese added, “I think they were just having a bubble bath.”

Chatting about “The Morning Show,” they said they now have empathy for TV reporters. Jennifer revealed, “I love a TelePrompTer."

So what would Jennifer Aniston ask Jennifer Aniston if she were a morning-show host? “Are you so excited to get out of this dress and have a cocktail?”

She said she would reply, “Yes!”
