Tiffany Haddish attended the opening of Tyler Perry’s studios in Atlanta Saturday evening, speaking with “Extra’s” Special Correspondent Rachel Lindsay about her personal boycott of the state of Georgia.
Haddish made clear earlier this year that she would not work in the state thanks to its restrictive abortion laws. “I’m not working," she said of supporting Perry's big night. "I am having fun... I might get pregnant, and then what?”
Tiffany also gave us an update on her good friend Kevin Hart, who injured his back in a scary car accident, saying, “He’s doing really really good. I talked to him the other day. He is doing good.”
As for Tyler, she said, “To see him doing this, he’s taking an old military base that belonged to... the Confederates. I know my history — I am smarter than I seem. It’s owned by a black man and [he'll be] creating awesome projects here. It’s amazing — amazing and inspiring.”
Smiling, the "Kids Say the Darndest Things" host said, “One day, I will have my own studio, too.”
