Olivia Newton-John Stays ‘Positive’ Amid Cancer Battle
“Extra's” Renee Bargh spoke with singer and actress Olivia Newton-John at the 2019 Industry Dance Awards in Los Angeles, where she gave an update on her health.
After a year of battling stage 4 breast cancer, Olivia said, “I feel great. I am positive. I'm alive!”
The 70-year-old emphasized, “It happens to so many people. I think if I hadn't gone through this experience, I wouldn't have been able to do the things I do.”
Newton-John, who is best known on the big screen for her role as Sandy in “Grease,” is battling cancer for the third time. She revealed that cannabis has been helping her wean off some of the medications.
“Extra” was also there when Olivia crashed our interview with Julianne Hough, who recently played Sandy on “Grease: Live.” Watch!
Along with fangirling over Olivia, Julianne opened up about posing nude in the latest issue of Women's Health.
