Lindsey Vonn is happy for her ex-boyfriend Tiger Woods.
“Extra’s” Renee Bargh caught up with Vonn, who shared her feelings on Tiger winning the Masters last month… 11 years after his last major victory in the sport.
“It was great. I always knew that he would come back and I am happy that he did.”
The Olympic skier recently retired, just announcing she has written a memoir to be released next year. “There is a lot that I haven’t shared and how hard it has been to be under so much pressure and scrutiny all the time, with my divorce and public relationships, it’s never easy. I think it’s an empowering story."
She admitted her writer probably doesn’t know but, “I cried often times after we finished our talks… It was very therapeutic.”
The 34-year-old also posed for the new Sports Illustrated SI, saying, “I had a three week block when I could actually do swimsuit training where I wasn’t lifting weights just to be bulky and strong.”
Vonn is supporting the Olympics on NBC just weeks after just undergoing LCL surgery. “I’m pretty good," she said. "I think for six weeks post-surgery… I’m always up for a challenge and today my challenge is wearing heels.”
